Construction Details:

This costume took about 150 hours to make!! All the diamond clusters you see were handmade, and I used foam sheets, NOT paper or cardboard. I made a pattern, traced, cut, glued and painted every single one @_@ about 55 total. The dress is made from furniture pleather, though if I had to do it over, I'd have chosen something else.

Personal Thoughts:

Extremely time consuming, difficult to move around in (dress must be removed to use the toilet!!), but very very cool. I'm glad I made this, and I'm glad it got the attention it deserved.
