Construction Details:

HOOO BOY. Most of the fuku was made using the SuperS pattern from poro-poro.com. The bodysuit parts are a heavier weight Lycra, bows are the wrong side of satin, all of the puffy parts are stuffed with polyester batting, and the collar + skirt are poplin. The brooch was made by Jazqui. The clear sleeves are quilting template plastic! Skirt was made following SparklePipsi's dA tutorial with horsehair braid 'cause we preferred pleated skirts over super floofy circle skirts. OH my earrings are really cute if you can see them at all and I got them from pinkclaymonkey.com.

Some part of this I sewed whilst in a BERSERKER RAGE and I feel like you can kind of tell what they are. This costume needs some TLC before I can rewear it.

Personal Thoughts:

SO EXCITED TO BE MARS. A super rad experience with rad people that made me feel a lot better about my sewing skills! However I also made this costume in like two weeks and went sorta insane, don't do that kids.

Styling Notes

I effed up my bangs and cut them way shorter than I wanted but hopefully I can fix this soon.
