About this Costume
- Construction Details:

Sphintus's uh... dress.. was made using a lightweight stretch knit (which I picked for confort and learned it was such a pain to work with on my old machine idk if I want to use it again LOL), and the shoulder band is just a simple black cotton blend, with the gold detail on via heat-n-bond. The robe is the same black cotton blend, lined in a gold coloured silk (which was also a pain to work with this costume just upset me), and the collar is actually two pieces because anime logic doesn't mix well in the real world. The front piece is a white blend, and the back end is actually a different fabric entirely because I didn't have any of the original white left and it was the night before haha, so it's made from left over bottomweight.
Kait made his earrings out of clay and beads, and painted it gold. She also made his headband using a regular headband and adding the detail in a craft foam (due to time restraints). Kait also made his shoes via destroying a pair of sandals, and using fabric and elastic for the bands. - Personal Thoughts:
- Originally I wanted to cosplay both Sphintus and Titus, and after a few friends started working on Scheherazade cosplays, I put Sphin aside for Titus, and ended up offering him to a friend to wear. HOWEVER. After a minor mishap, I ended up wearing him instead of Titus first (not that I minded)
