Construction Details:

This was my first time dying an entire wig so it was a bit of an experiment. We couldn't get ahold of a nice orange wig that wasn't neon, so we bought two pink wigs and tried to dye them more of a peachy-orange colour. Felixious (who was planning on cosplaying as Kamui with her wig) reckons the wigs are a bit TOO orange (especially in comparison to the manga) but I think they're alright (since I just watch the anime). We decided to make these outfits because we wanted to cosplay Gintama in Japan during our trip there, but we knew that felixious and Frazzy would melt in their kimono and hakama, so we decided to look for something that would be more suitable for June. We found these outfits from "beetle catching" episode 65 and decided to make them. The outfit itself was blasted out in less than a day, and the nets and my kabutomushi cage were bought in Japan. We also bought the hats and ribbon for them over there and finished them in our hotel room before we went to the cosplay event in Kawasaki. :D
