Personal Thoughts:

This is my first miaka costume from the artbook. I plan to construct more of her costumes in the near future. My favorite aspect to this costume is the lightness of the fabric and the color scheme. I love all shades of red and pink. ;) I was really lucky to have a tamahome to take pictures with me at the convention. I also made Tamahome's costume too. ;P This was first worn at AX 2004. I chose to cosplay miaka because this was the first anime I watched with my boyfriend I have special memories for this series. Because at the time my relationship was going through ups and downs, but when a fushigi yuggi tape arrived in the mail my boyfriend and I would have a lovely evening snuggling together and watching miaka and tamahome fight to be with each other. :o
