Construction Details:

Everything but the tube top and skirt is made out of leather. The headpiece was constructed by Jinyo in about a week for Dragon*Con, and redone for about week after Dragon*Con. It's made from Wonderflex. Body makeup is Beny Nye creme makeup. Lightsaber is a custom replica from NocturneArmory.

Personal Thoughts:

I never thought I would make this costume, and I'll always say that. I like Shaak Ti and at some point want to make a Shaak Ti costume, and I thought Ahsoka looked cute and all, but I was only vaguely interested. Then somewhere around three weeks before Dragon*Con, I suddenly decided that...somehow...I was going to make this costume. With a lot of help from my boyfriend, and a lot of luck, we got it finished AT Dragon*Con. In fact, we were finishing it all Saturday morning before I wore it that evening. Not Recommended. It was amazing though, and Steve Sansweet and Matthew Wood both saw me in the outfit. I ever garnered the attention of Clone Wars director Dave Filoni who sent me a personalized sketch thanking me for appreciating the character so much. Wow! I've had a heck of a lot of fun wearing this costume at Dragon*Con, Legoland and the Clone Wars Mall Tour. It's a labor of love to get into it, and a huge pain in the ass to get out of it.
