Construction Details:

Essentially, what I had to make was the blazer, capris and scarf. Everything was simple but I encountered a few issues with everything.

I made the pants first. I was originally going to use black but I found it too contrasting with the grey. So I magically found a duller black fabric that was kind of grey-ish and decided to use that. The design of the pants were interesting. A lot of random pockets and stitch work. I decided to use stitches in white thread instead of bias tape because I thought the thinner look was nicer. Sure, not all my stitches were completely straight and even but I think I did an ok job.

The blazer was the next thing. I decided to choose a duller colour than be accurate. So I'm glad that I found this colour when I was looking for the duller black fabric. The funny thing is thought I messed up the collar and had issues attaching it. Another issue was that I made the black trim go around the collar when it didn't do that... I guess I wasn't paying attention when I was sewing. I will fix it eventually maybe. I'm not sure.

I couldn't find an inner shirt in the right colour so I remembered the hoodie I made for Otoya and used that. I hid the hood portion with the scarf and blazer. It worked out in the end. LOL

The hair clips were made using worbla. I didn't realize the three holes are actual holes and not indents. So technically they aren't accurate. I don't think I'll be fixing that as the hair clips are painted and primed.

Personal Thoughts:

Watching the new season of SAO that features the GGO aspect of the novel made me love Sinon's character. I mean, she was interesting when I was reading the novel but I guess the animation aspect of it made it more interesting? Her casual was really down to earth and looked comfy so I decided why not with an upcoming con happening around the same time.

Wig Review

I was originally going to use the bob portion of a twin tail wig but I decided against using the anime hair colour. Also the wig was too short for Sinon's front portions. I had a powder blue wig for something else and just decided to follow the novel. I'm glad that I did.
