Construction Details:

The skirt and collar are both made of green bottomweight fabric, and the blouse is made of white bottomweight. The tie is just cheap quilting cotton, but I bought it because the color is perfect. The designs on the sleeves (the left arm and both wrists) were drawn on with a fabric pen that was the same color as the tie.

I sewed this costume in about 3 days without the use of any patterns. The collar needs a lot of work, since I ran out of fabric the night before I needed to have it done. I had a lot of debate about whether Ringo's skirt was box pleated or knife pleated, and I ended up going with box pleats. But, after receiving an official Ringo figure, it's clear she actually has knife pleats instead. A lot of alterations are going to be made before AX so that I can be the best Ringo ever!

By the way- for the aquarium photoshoot, I used a wig bought from Alpaca on Taobao, but found it too flat. So instead, I now use my own hair which I lighten and straighten.
