Construction Details:

Oh boy I love painting on costumes~
The main fabric we used is white velveteen, stretch velvet and a jersey knit for the arm/sleeve thing. The top has boning in the side and back, and there are four snowflake buttons holding it closed. The snowflakes along the trim of the top, the gloves, and the boots are cut out of glitter paper stock and laminated. I made the snowflakes for myself and inabari so only one of us would have to buy the punches xD.

On the skirt, I made a stencil and painted the snowflakes on with that :3 I painted both skirts.

For the arm, I painted the gradient on both of our arm/sleeves with an airbrush, and used stencils for the snowflakes and dots. Inabari and I both worked on the snowflakes for hers.

The hair accessory snowflake and garter snowflake are foamie with a layer of glitter over top of it. For the hair accessory and the details on the waist, I painted the gradients on again with the airbrush. I made both the wrist bands and garters for us so that they'd match, though I did not make Inabari's bows on hers :3.

Styling Notes

I cut/styled bangs into it, and actually added two ponytails together. The ponytail is VERY heavy. I added some combs to the front to help but it still has some trouble holding it up! I also had to sew the wig cap area smaller

Wig Review

The ponytail started drooping during our shoot and I desperately needed to reapply the wig =_=! I definitely took notes for next time
