What I would just do is get like a wooden dowel thing (they come in diff. thickness and length) and like, somehow (not really sure) attach a tip to it. Well for the tiara/mask thing, what kind of materials will you use? If you use fabrics or something not very thickish for the tiara, you could just sew the two things together and put a little jewel over top with hot glue??... lol I made a paint picture in case you don't quite see what I meant?
