Ani-Magic 2009 Updated Info: New Venue and Dates

Due to difficulties with the fair board, we've been forced to find a new venue and we have located one. The newly opened Palmdale Hotel California has offered to host the con. It's the closest we'll get to our former digs at the AVI and the rooms are bigger and more comfy. The place is VERY con friendly because the GM and house keeping staff all came over from the AVI and they know the deal. Room parties WILL be permitted!
The block rate for the rooms is $97.00 for max four people (and yes we know you'll squeeze in more). The new facility sports some familiar settings; the poolside stage returns along with that intimate feel you've come to know. There is a packaged room/event pass deal in the offing, so stay tuned for details. There are currently 80 double queen rooms in the block, which will expire August 15th, and slightly higher rates good until the 28th. After that rooms will revert to their standard pricing
In order to secure the hotel we've had to change the dates: Oct 9-11 2009. This news is early enough that you can reschedule time off if your planning to come up.
