Hey everyone! New to ACP

Hey everyone! Though I'm not new to cosplaying, I am new to ACP and I wanted to introduce myself.
I'm a 24 year old graduate student going to Rutgers (hopefully, this semester is my final one). I've cosplayed since 2009 and I love to cosplay because there are so many things from anime I would like to wear, but usually can't. Unfortunately, because I'm not good with sewing or a sewing machine (and because of time), I usually buy my costumes. I have, in some occasions, made my costumes and I do want to get better at making costumes.
I've joined ACP because I want to try to find a cosplay partner/group. I've been to some photoshoots in conventions last year, but because of my timidness, I have trouble talking to/meeting new people. So for that reason and since my friends don't cosplay, I usually cosplay alone, which I want to change this year.
