Lolita?

Post by Bleeding_Kunai » Fri Nov 16, 2007 8:28 am

Eek. *sigh* I've gotten in the word of Lolita, and I'm wondering if it's for me. I want no "You can do whatever you want" comment. Meh. This is just so I know what I should do for Loli.

I had to Link it because the pictures were to big and I didn't feel like having to reduce the sizes at the moment. Sorry.

Angled Face, Mid-Upper body included

Without glasses TT.TT

With a hat on

So? Am I elligable for it?

The world of lolita is very vast. there are different types.

Sweet or Amai Loli- Which is the cute pastel colors / or solids with cutesie-pootsie designs like music notes, flowers and ect

Fruits Loli- which is as it sounds. Fruit printed materals or materals of bright colors.

Gothic Loli- Which is darker hues, purple, black, red, jewel tones if you will. that have crosses or corset like designs...(think interview with a vampire ish)

Elegant Aristocrat- Basically its pretty and resembles the rococo period. (ie marie antoinette)

Gothic- which is the equivenelent of what you would find in a hot topic before they went emo.

Gothic punk- if its riped torn destressed or jagged the better!!

then you have variations or crosses of those. its a very broad spectum. so what i suggest is figure out what kind of lolita you want to be. then go from there.

Do you have a favorite color?
An animal?
Shape symbol?

Then go and check out some lolita sites: Baby the stars shine brite, putmyo, mary magnoland (spelling), Victorian madien.

After you figure that out hit up joann's/ hanncocks, or material retail store and look for a pattern that will resemble what you what.

I found that simplicity has a section in thier costumes that are very good for alteration (i.e. make longer or decorate with ribbons and bows) that work wonderfully for lolita.

If you need further help, feel free to message me.

Everyone has the potential to be a great loli. Just find a style you like best and that represents you and then find a loli that accomodates that. NEVER be a loli you don't want to be. Just have fun. ^^

Agreed! Most of loli's I have seen fit the loli they have chosen. I do think you're definitely illegible for this Loli. To be more specific in the middle of Technopoptart's post.
