Costume Pattern HELP!

okay so im planning to go to a convention dressed as a fan character i came up with! but i have no flipping idea how to make the costume for it! its alot like chi chi's outfit at the end of dragon ball. please give me any help you can!

I would suggest buying a chinese dress pattern (they have them at fabric stores - you may have to look under "dresses" or "costumes" in the pattern books), and buying a pajama pants or scrubs pattern. They always go on sale for 1-2$, so don't buy them full price.

other than that, I would suggest that in order to get the most out of this forum, be as specific as possible in what you need (i.e. "sewing help, 1st time sewer" or "what type of fabric would work for this costume?" etc.). You can't just say "I need help with everything."
