Need fabric help for a Devil May Cry 1 cosplay jacket!!

Can anyone give me advice on a fabric to use for the jacket? I have some poly-suede, but it doesn't look right...

looks like leather or a matted plaether, you may need to give it a shoe polish rub for that distressed look. You could also look at a heavy linen or twill but look carefully, make sure it's what you want.

it is indeed leather...so go with a colored viynal with a ...*looks back at pic* matching red satin for the lining ^^ that would be the best and the satin would breath so you wouldn't be as hot
