Sode no Shirayuki? (Kuchiki Rukia's Zanpaktou.)

Post by VocalCannibal » Sun Jan 13, 2008 8:13 am

I haven't decided for when, but I'm definitely going to need Sode no Shirayuki eventually for my Rukia cosplay.
I've seen tutorials of how to make cardboard swords, but I don't have the dexterity to pull that off.

Any ideas?

(My last resort will be Legos. I've seen a Lego Zabimaru before, It's not impossible!)

go for the cardboard. You just might be surprised at how well it turns out ;)

I made a Hyourinmaru (Toushiro's Zanpakuto) out of cardboard, and while not the greatest attempt, it still came out looking enough like a sword that I was happy with it. I just have to remember, in any subsequent attempts, to smooth out the hot glue with extra heat ^^;

I think I'll try that, but the hilt is whats freaking me out.
Little details make everything seem so much more complicated.

I saw a few tutorials on how to make them out of wood...
Looking for new cosplay ideas and new friends! Ohyes.
