Need help making a part of a costume.

I have to make something to go on my costume and my friends were thinking on how to do it. I need to make the wire frame for it but I don't know what type of wire would be good for that. I don't even know if wire woul dbe good for it.

I guess you're talking about that piece of "fencing" that goes behind the guy's head? Maybe running thick wire inside vinyl tubing would work. Once it's all painted, the wire won't be visible. Make sure you run ends of the wire all the way down through the vest for support.
