Hey
I'm planning to cosplay as Natsuki from Mai Otome! I was wondering if anyone has any sites or helpful tips about the material I should use and such.

Natsuki is the one with the dark blue hair and long coat

Thanks ^^

for the jacket I would use a blue suiting material and for the lapel maybe white casa satin and paint the gold accents on with a paint pen and then sew metallic gold cord around the edges of the gold to give it a finished look. You could also do Gold lame, but I think the first idea is alot easier and will look nicer. For her midrif shirt I would use a stechy satiny material, and for the pants use PVC, they look shiny. fo rthe faux collar I would use a cotton material and for the bolero a satin material. The bolero fastener should be pretty easy to find, look at the thriftstore in the jewelry section. As for patterns for the jacket vogue pattern 8170 looks like a good fit, you'll just have to make the collar a little wider, not too hard to do. Vogue 8130 shouold be good for the pants, just cut a v in the front and you can applique on the blue squiggles. and vogue 8079 should be good for the shirt again a couple of small modifications should suffice. That is the best help I can offer.
