ok my little sister wants a sailor jupiter costume and I said I would make it for her.. even though I have no idea were to start.. ok thats a lie I'm thinking about using a white one piece swim sute and making a little chrearleaders skirt and a coller out of green fabric, then for the sleaves, tops of the gloves, and belt I'm thinking of stuffing some toob like things I'm going to sow ( did that make cents? ) but I still don't know about the boots, and tairia
do you think this will work? is ther a better way to do it?

Butterick pattern 5781. Here is an ebay link so that you can see the pic. But pretty much you have to add the collar and make the waist thing by making a casing that comes to a v in the front center, make the skirt a lil longer and add bows where neccesary, or if she is a lil girl then it would be 5782. This is a pattern that should be in every girl cosplayers patterns. The boot covers you can experiment with, I have never made them for a jupiter costume, but you could prolly find a pair very similair to hers at the thriftstore and spray paint them green if you need to. Tiara can be made from funfoam, gold paint, a green jewel, glue, and elastic. choker, ribbon. I think that's it. Sailor fuku's are easy. BTW you can get the pattern at Joanne's still.
