HELLO!!! I am a total newbie! I need help with digi charat!
Next year i will be going to my con next year and i want to be pechiko from digi charat. I already have the hat, but i dont know what to wear and how to make it! So I am in desperate need of help!

Let's all be friends! ^_^
I don't know what your size is but McCall's M3759 would be perfect, it is a child size but if you are brave enough you can make a larger pattern from the smaller pattern. Pattern Ease (found with interfacing and fussible webbing) is a good start for pattern material. for the skirt though you can just make a straight strip of fabric long enough to cover and then get some of the big tulle and then sew the edge right sides together and then make a casing at the top and then sew the other end of the tulle to tthe bottom casing thread line(make sure the tulle is about an 1.5-2 inches shorter than the blue fabric) and then thread your elastic thru the casing. This will give the skirt the poofy efect that Puchiko has. Check my Mew Ichigo costume

For her feet you can make it like a leg warmer but add feet to the bottom, I dunno how to explain this right now I am way tired but I will post more tommorrow when I am well rested. I hope the first part has helped you a lil.

I went as Puchiko for AX05, and from the looks of it, she wears poofy shorts, not a skirt so I made my costume with poofy shorts we got them to poof out by making them like skorts and putting elastic at the bottom. I got the Plushie from AX04 and basically developed the outfit from that. For the shirt, its a basic sailor top, I used broad cloth for the clothing portion of the outfit. However make sure that whatever you use for the bottom portion for your costume isnt see through...I made that mistake so I had to wear a pair of swim trunks under my shorts. The feet are actually pretty easy to make, I made them out of fleece and felt for the stripes. As well as the tail. you basically have to measure your legs lengthwise and around to make sure that theyll fit. Elastic is your friend in this case. Its rather difficult to explain how to make the feet. The tail should be pretty easy to make. Sorry I cant offer any coherant advice ^_^
