::squees:: After the near panic attack of trying to find a costume, I came home after staying at the fiance's; to find my mother with a huge grin on her face. She bought me Yuki Cross' Day Class Uniform, so hopefully it arrives in time so I'll be going as her! ::phew:: See you there!! I'll be with a...

You could also do Sesshoumaru's makeup from Inuyasha. The crescent moon is thin so you have to be precise and then the jagged lines and eye tint/shadow. It's simple but it requires a steady hand. Just an idea.

I agree you'd make a very good Kokoro. All you would need to do to your hair is add the beads. Plus her furisode is gorgeous and you get a chance to wear okobo sandals. All and all, It's worth looking into and Dead or Alive is an amazing game to go as; you will almost always find someone else at Con...

If all goes well, I'm going as Yuuko from Schrödinger's Lion. If all doesn't, I have a base for Robin Sena, all I need to do is make her pendant and get some long ribbons. I just hope I can get everything together for Yuuko... she's just too damn amazing, I can't not go as her.

A few of me, mind you all three are my characters in costume from my unhealthy LARP habit but a photo's a photo. I used to have a picture from Connecticon where I went as Orihime from Bleach but it went missing. Me as my Toreador Vampire, Lyda. http://b1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/00570/17/96/57040697...

I understand that it didn't come from a nasty place, it's just... a dodgey issue. Take myself for example, I wish I was healthier, but not because I sit on my tush and snack down on BonBons. I have two medical conditions called Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis. In laymen's; every second of ever...

What about Diva from Blood+? She's rather wicked, very girly/stylish, and packs a voice like an angel. Plus... vampire? She tends to have a lot of different costumes but most are ball gown inspired, while dark. ^.^ Factoid about the character: Diva is Saya's younger twin sister and the main antagoni...

I agree that you would make an amazing Sol. And since I'm a huge Guilty Gear fan, how can I not second the idea. Or if you don't mind how popular it's been lately you could try being L from Death Note. But it's just this side of overdone. Since you have that very slender physique, it opens you up to...

I'm making the mask out of Sculpie... so here's praying it comes out well.

If you don't like to sew, Fabric stores sell this stuff called 'No stitch'. It comes in a tube and it holds wicked tight. On some fabrics you don't want to stitch through, it works wonders. No visible seams, and in the words of my mom. "It's idiot proof... so even we can't mess it up." :D Hope this ...

Thanks a ton! I actually went as Orihime last year and it was a tres blast (my fiance went as Urahara.) Matsumoto would be a good choice... hmm I'll see what I can do. :D My fiance suggested going as Kitsune-no-men from Ryo Koku, so I have a bunch of ideas now. http://www.animecharactersdatabase.com...

5'4", long red hair (to about mid back), dark eyes, really pale skin, average build with a rather (obnoxious in my mind) large chest.

Advice on cosplay

I'd like to cosplay for Connecticon again this year but I am beyond tapped on ideas. I'd really appreciate some help.
