Quick-cosplay help!
So, my school is having it's second spirit week this year, and--low and behold-- there's going to be a video game day! I'm really excited, but I don't have any cosplays for a video game character. So, does any one know of any school appropriate, female, video-game characters whose outfit would be fa...

Well, if he really wants to cosplay as Zidane, then you could always just get a wig. I recomend either the Femme Fatale (which would require a lot of cutting and styling), or the Ada wig (which would require slightly less cutting and styling). Both of which (along with some wigs that you might want ...

Well, there's always The Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Moon, and Sailor Chibi Moon, though you would have to have wigs for that. Or Zidane, Garnet, and Eiko from Final Fantasy 7 http://mizutomo.com/cg/sonota/ff9.jpg (not the black mage in the middle) And I'm trying to think of more....but nothing is coming to...

That one is historically accurate, but if you don't like how it sounds, there's always this one:

Lol, now I have some expreience with this! Nothing like being cast as Edmund from Narnia in a play have having to suffer through tying your chest down for weeks. Anyway, sorry for the rant, but the best way is to buy a sports bra, probably one size smaller than what you would normally wear. Then, go...

Cid from FFX
And then there's Armstrong from Full Metal Alchemist, but for that you'd have to glue a little curl of blonde to your forehead.

Well, first I would start with this pattern, and either alter the pattern or the made dress to not have the sholders. You might also want to shorten the sleeves a bit because Rina sleeves cut off a bit before her wrists. http://www.smartcart.com/1sew/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=7939bur Then just sew th...

I agree with all of what mrs.tomoe said. The only thing I have to add is that the leotard part and the gloves looks like it's made out of shiney vinyl material, but if you don't think you are experienced enough to work with it (trust me, it's difficult), then you should just buy a black leotard. The...

It looks like those little rubber bands people wear with sayings on them like "Don't do Drugs" or "I Joined the Fight Against Breast Cancer", one in blue(maybe purple), one in black, and one in white.

I'm not sure that you can thin the area out, because I have yet to work with lycra, but something that you might want to concider is cutting out two holes for the eyes and sewing a type of black mesh in, that you can see out of, but people can't really see in. I'm not sure, but maybe something like ...

I'm glad to find fellow future-Midna-cosplayers here n_n I was kinda discouraged while looking around at different sites. But to paint on synthetic, stretchy fabrics, you need a special kind of paint. Here's a link for where to get them:
