when I started out sewing cosplay costumes ( I had been sewing since I was 10) I would just look thru the pattern books, like all the way thru and find patterns even if they only had one piece of the costume and piece them together. Try Joanne's when they have patterns on sale for 99 cents or 1.99. ...

For the odangos, is it possible to take part of the pig tail and then wrap the odango around the remaining pigtail?? That is how I would do it, I have made one sailor moon wig before. As for the moon on the forhead, have you tried to use eylash glue to keep it on, that has worked for me in the past....

You could use ribbon and attach it on the sides then cross it in the back like a criss cross and then makethe ribbon come out at the top and bottom of each end of the wings, so you would have in theory four ribbons to tie arond you in the front to criss cross. that is jsut an idea for tying them to ...

I don't think that I know of there is any way to make amaterial non shiny. As for the skirt poofing out, you could make your own petticoat to you own poofyness. hats are pretty easy to make. Find a hat pattern and add ears. they are just triangles for cat ears and for bunny ears a u type shape, and anyething else you can think of. Just cut out the ear design on paper. You pretty much can add ears to the hat pattern if you get the right one. and Fleece would...

Stretch fabric hard to work with? It all depends on the fabric itself some of it is really rolly and some of it almost lays flat. I actually like to work with it cause It seems a little bit easier cause it has a lot more give than a non stretchy fabric. My own personal opinion on that. I think it al...
