Well, not exactly up, but to keep it stiff. It'll still be kinda flexible but you can't bend it too much. I guess the foam would work though.

You mean characters that must be crossplayed? I can't really say much about Prince of Tennis, because I know a few guys that look the part (kinda). It's just that females have a better chance because of the femenine look the characters have. And as for Ed, I always thought Ed was female. =/

Wood is easy to use for simple as simple as this. ^^ Light-weight and strong. It should only be about $1.50 for a piece of flat, flexible wood and $3 for a can of silver spray paint. Just spray paint the wood and use a permanant marker for the symbol. ^^

Aren't boomerangs usual made of wood? >.< I could've sworn they were. The only problem is that it'd be heavy. The best way to go for weight and strength would be foam. It's usually super-light and comes in different strengths.

It really depends on the shirt you're wearing with it. But it is basically the same as a V-neck on some shirts. I thought you meant the outer angle. =P

It's the mask that covers his mouth and nose. I'm probably going to use an elastic material for most of it, but I can't really seem to make the lines right. It's like the one I'm wearing in my avater, but without the seam down the center.

With my special, I say wood with vinyl, but that doesn't work too well. Maybe a plastic material would work nicely for the buckle. You can just create a mold and go from there.

Since you used the material you did, why not tie them on somehow? A string is low cost and can hold well with a tight knot. The only problem is getting it off if it holds. XD

Edit: Here's a pic of what I meant. Also, you can use magnets to hold what I accidentally called the "Ear" with magnets, which might be easier than trying to drill small screws into the ear (if it was solid).
