Construction Details:

Construction on this & my friends Espeon & Vaporeon dresses are the same! I modified a butterick bridal pattern (don't have the number on me, all of my patterns live at my parents' house when I'm not using them, sorry!) for the bodice.

nThe skirts are just full circle skirts which we trimmed with lace, and scalloped, in Vaporeon's case. nI ordered the gloves off of amazon because my mom took me to get a manicure for my birthday and halfway through getting my nails painted purple (my actual favorite color), I was like "well shoot these don't match my cosplay for this weekend" lol. Overall, really easy, really comfy, and only took about 12 hours a piece to make over three days!

Personal Thoughts:

Finished this and my friend's Espeon cosplay just in time for the Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions concert in Boston! Junichi Masuda was actually there and conducted a sing-a-long version of Kiseki, which is the ending song of X&Y. Totally cried like a baby, totally not ashamed. It was so wonderful to share this experience with so many Pokemon fans!

I love Arda's wigs because their caps fit my head, but their longer wigs tangle SO easily. ; A ;
