Construction Details:

Wig: Was my old devilot wig styled with poofy bangs
Blue contacts: the most comfortable ones I have to date. G&G Aloha Blue.
Resin star broach: purchased with the group from Starlit creations
White danskin leotard I altered.
Skirt is a separate piece. Added wide horsehair ribbon at the bottom of both skirt pieces. I like the pleated look for the senshi outfits over the circle skirt so I went with that.
Blue bow is held on with strong magnets and it also holds on the sailor collar.
The orange puffies on the end of the sleeves and gloves were stuffed with cording.

Personal Thoughts:

The original purpose of this costume was a group of all the eternal senshi for Anime Boston 2013. They needed a venus so I volunteered. Unfortunately, half the group dropped out last minute. I didn't finish the costume, but for the next year little by little when I didn't have something to work on I would work on this. I knew because of the revival of Sailor Moon, I would wear this for something. I really enjoy wearing this costume by representing one of my favorite fandoms! Plus this costume was a great inspiration for me to loose weight. I lost 20 pounds so I could look my best in this costume. Lots of work, but its given me good eating habits and put me on the right path to being healthy.
