About this Costume
Construction Details:
Here's an explanation for most of the costume's first stage, directly from my Cosplay.com page:rnrn"This is my first cosplay that I made mostly by hand, so please... Be gentle?rnrnI had help from my friend Lulu in some of the items. :3 soooo. Credit to him as well.rnrnThe headwings are made from craftfoam, hot-glued together onto a piece of wire that is then stuck into the wig and bent to keep in place. It worked pretty well!rnrnThe wig was bought from eBay with the bangs longer than I needed. So I cut and styled those.rnrnThe leotard I bought from Activewear4U, a sweetheart leotard without the shirring in the front. I undid the straps and sewed them on again so they would be on the arm more instead of the shoulder, for the feathers. I cut up a feather boa, and sewed it into the straps with no problem. I also cut out a heart shape in the front, which was really a b-tch to work with because the fabric kept moving. But, at least it looks like a heart.rnrnThe armlets were bought from eBay.rnrnThe stockings I bought from WeLoveColors in Magenta, then I had purple fabric paint and sprayed the bats on with a stencil while wearing it with assistance from a friend. XD I had purple bats on my legs for a little bit until I showered. A few of the bats look like a blob because we didn't sponge them up after painting, but we did so with the rest. But it didn't seem to matter anyway, no one thought it looked terrible. :DrnrnThe boots are from Electric Boutique, cut and edited. While doing this, one of the zippers decided to pop off, so I had to get another and put it on there, and made a new stopper. I'm mostly proud of the boots myself. ^^"rnrnThe wings of the first stage were not made by me. They were made by Otaku King, who usually does great work, but since he had so many commissions, he rushed and did an ehh job on my wings. The headwings were the only part that was salvageable, so I wore them.rnrnNext year, I had my wings redone by Kristal Alvarado, both the head ones and the back ones, and they were perfect. I edited the straps on the back wings so that they were clear, and made the illusion of being attached to me.rnrnI also went back and redid the leggings. Everything else stayed the same.
Personal Thoughts:
This costume went through two stages. It might go through a third, but it's retired right now. I liked being Morrigan, and this was my most famous cosplay before I started doing better at putting costumes together. I miiiiight just bring this one back, but I'm not entirely sure.

Styling Notes
The bang was longer than it needed to be, so it was cut short, along with the ends cut bluntly, and then bumped so it looks a bit more curved and not as straight. Other than that, that was it.
Wig Review
Still have it, still love this wig.
