Construction Details:

Everything on this costume was either new material or new process to me. I learned so much from this costume as it is truely my first costume that focused on sewing. Other costumes either had a lot of other elements that were the focus instead of the dress.

I learned how to work with velvet and satin (worst combination), making a pleather corset, and learning how to pattern. I have altered patterns for most of my costumes, but this was the first time I made a pattern from scratch. I still can't believe that I pulled this costume off.
