Construction Details:

this was mostly a closet cosplay that i modified. the jacket i bought from the thrift store and fitted, added a new collar, added white bias tape, sewed on the school patch and switched out the buttons. the pants were from walmart and only cost me about $12, i made them a little tighter in the legs. the white shirt and grommet belt are also from walmart. i borrowed the belt chain from my boyfriend and sculpted the little robot out of clay. the shoes were also from the thrift store. i painted and added fur details to them, so glad to have comfy shoes. bought the sword online, it's actually really nice but i don't like the neon green shoelaces on them, i'll probably change those next time i wear the costume. the sword harness thing is made from chinese brocade fabric and salvaged straps from an old duffle bag. i couldn't find the exact buckles i wanted for the straps on it but the ones i found at least look pretty cool. overall really happy with this costume and i'm glad that i actually kinda look like a boy in it ;)

Personal Thoughts:

I marathon watched this series so i could cosplay with Sarah Fong and i don't regret a single minute of it. so gewd! i think that shiemi is my favorite character but rin is a close second and i look terrible blond. lots of frustration with this costume but i'm actually really happy with the way it turned out.
