Extra Costume Details by Shii Arisugawa

My second full MASK de Smith costume, but this time for Siyegen, as we have some changes in our killer7 group line up (and this is the character he originally wanted to cosplay as, anyway). I made the jacket, pants, and trench coat, all lined with some fabulously cheap fabric I found at Michael Levine in LA's Fashion District. I decided to add some more detail by adding black button holes and buttons to the trench coat, and it attaches to the jacket using velcro. Mask 2.0 took the most amount of work, I used this awesome tutorial as a basis, but slightly altered the shape so it's bigger, and adjusted the eye hole placement. It took me a few test patterns to get something Siyegen liked, which was aggravating and frustrating on my part, but I'd rather he be picky about it as he's wearing it. :p I also wanted to try doing cut outs for the eyes, instead of fray checking that shit. lol The final version has an improved scorpion design, top stitched cut out eye holes, and eyelets in the back so you can "lace up" the mask.
