Construction Details:

I followed a dress pattern I had and added ribbon into the front and back side seams. Once the base dress was complete, I used heat and bond to add the sparkly purple fabric, then stitched on thin twill tape to finish the edges.

The cape was made with black satin and purple sateen and was draped on my dress form. I wasn't paying attention to the reference picture and ended up making it too short (oh well).

I originally was going to do Hulk (I still have all the materials), but as Dragon*Con crept closer and closer, I knew I wasn't going to be able to finish it in time, especially all those ruffles. So I changed my plan to Hawkeye because it was a design I knew I could make quickly.

Styling Notes

I put the wig on and spiked up the middle with lots of hair spray.
