Construction Details:

Not too bad to put together really. The jacket is just a basic suit jacket and I made the embroidered patch myself. The tie took the most time since I hand painted all the stripes. the tail has a lot of wire in it so I can shape it and move it around and position as I want. I made the sword carrier out of a red brocade and canvas straps and buckles. The boots are just a standard red boot that I added the white fur boot cover to.

I'm most proud of the sword and how it came out. It is a wooden base with craft foam detailing and is completely hand painted. The flames are clear plastic with three different shades of blue blended together and painted onto it. Those were a last minute decision before the convention because I wanted to be able to carry around the sword without the sheath and also wanted to use my longer demon ears.

Personal Thoughts:

Rin is adorable and as soon as I started watching the show I knew I wanted to cosplay him. And when i saw that my barnaby shoes could double as Rin boots..well it just made doing the outfit that much easier. Its just fun to run around as Rin because I love my demon tail XD
