Construction Details:

Drafted the leotard using instructions at patternschool.com, using stretch velvet from spandexworld.com in lime green. The boots are white Dinkles (figured I might as well be comfy in my costume!) with blue and gold removable covers over them. The armor was made by making the base shape out of strips of cardboard from cereal boxes, then hot glue to roughly smooth things out, followed by layers of papier-mache and some Bondo to both strengthen and smooth. As you can see, things didn't turn out perfectly, but they were a worthwhile experiment and an excellent learning experience for me. The sword is just a Nerf sword I picked up at Toys'R'Us haha... ran out of time to make my own. ):

Styling Notes

Basically just cut some bangs into it and clipped in some barrettes I made.
