Construction Details:

This design isn't based off of any real design of Poison Ivy's, rather a combintaion of many designs I have seen throughout the comics and figures/statues. The Top is a corest, laces up in the back with green ribbon, and the entire thing is covered in leaves, individually glued on O_o. The bottoms are a pair of bikini bottoms, with the same method applied with the gluing of the leaves, when worn together, it makes it look like a one piece bodysuit. The gloves were made of a green/gold lycra, as were the boot covers. The wig is Linda XXL in henna red (same wig I used for Ariel) the head piece is just random leaf vines and berries wrapped around a clear hair comb. I really want to try in the future to experiment with makeup on this one, I feel she is a character I could get really creative with makeup. I have a pair of lime green fishnet tights that I can wear with this costume as well, maybe next photo op I'll try those out, to see what kind of look I can create with that :)

Personal Thoughts:

Still haven't worn it to a con, but maybe one day though >< I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Styling Notes

I just used my wig for my Ariel costume, I already had the bangs side swept, I felt it realy suited the character already :)
