About this Costume
Construction Details:
Details on Costume:
Fabric: Glitter Satin for skirt, collar, glove rolls.
Pleather and Fuax-suede for boots. (Main red boots were bought on Ebay then I hand sewed the white pleather and used fabri-tac glue to attach the moons-I can't make shoes)
Spandex/Lycra for gloves, body armour, and leotard.

Brooch-commissioned (not saying who cause I dislike how it came out for certain reasons)

Skirt: Circle skirt, with a couple micro folds "pleats" here and there (not many), a V cut in the front. Bubble hemmed around to make it extra flowy and it is shorter in the back than front. Snap is attached to the front to help give the skirt a dip. Next time, velcro will be attached to the back of the skirt to hold it up higher.

Collar: Lynleigh tutorial (altered pattern to my size), fabri-tac glued on the ribbon. The collar snaps to my leo.

Bows: Just square measurements and hand sewn. Safety pinned on.

Armour: not hemmed, all hand sewn. Kind of like a crop top. I might take this in if I can because the shoulder's fall a bit too low for my liking.
Shoulders: Hand sewn, half circle pattern, stuffed with batting.
Hip Roll: hand sewn, covered in lycra, attached to skirt.
Glove rolls, three seperate rolls hand sewn, then shoved in a square tube and hand sewn shut.

I would say 60% of this costume was hand sewn and it took me over 45 hours to complete her.

I DO have her Staff from the Manga (#3) but don't have photos of it yet, since I'm doing a private shoot sometime this summer with a Tuxedo Mask with the staff. :3

Personal Thoughts:
I retired this and used it to update to Super Sailor Moon. :3
