Construction Details:

This costume was a lot of firsts for me, first lined jacket, first circle skirt & first embroidery patch!

I struggled with the hat because I didn't know how to make it so that it would be bigger at the top then taper down to fit the circumference of the head on the bottom, after 3 tries, I ended up making a hat that isn't as accurate to the artwork, but I'm somewhat satisfied with it. If I ever learn how to make it correctly, I'll definitely go in and make a new one.

Styling Notes

I had some problems with the wig being delivered to me, and had to settle for a different wig in the end that was super curly compared to the slightly wavy wig I originally wanted. Fortunately, the wig I got was heat resistant, so I straightened the curls down to get it to the right style & trimmed the bangs up.
