Construction Details:

This is my favorite costume yet! I love big dresses and frilly things. I watched princess tutu and saw the final episode and just knew I had to do this dress! Rue is my favorite character so I wanted to give her some credit. This cosplay took a lot of work. All the ruffles are hand made from strips of fabric I cut out and pleated individually. The dress is about 7 layers of fabric from top to bottom but surprisingly it wasn't all that heavy. Very comfortable to wear too! The shoulder pads are made out of feathers and lace, my favorite part!
