Legend goes that I forged the entire thing of nothing more than sheer willpower and Doctor Who reruns. That's mostly correct. I had to make all my own patterns and the collar was one big experiment in Pellon Peltex and wire. Do you know how hard it is to get a three-dimensional shape through a sewing machine? Very hard. But I love the entire thing to bits and pieces. Even the beard! The beard was itchy hell but so worth it.
