Construction Details:

My friend introduced me to Hetalia, and ever since then, I've never stopped loving it ^^ The moment I saw Japan, I knew I wanted to cosplay him. We're alike in so many ways it's scary.

I searched high and low for the right jacket pattern to use for Japan. Many jacket patterns with a Chinese collar have darts in them, which I didn't want for Japan since he's a guy. I eventually settled for one that had darts in the back on the shoulders. I also made the pants (which turned out shorter than I expected them to be 0_0) and added the gold detailing on the sleeves. I, again, used my real hair for this cosplay and used some nice black shoes that I had lying around to finish off the costume. The only thing I'm missing is a katana. If I can get one, I may re-shoot this costume.
