Construction Details:

The skirt was the only simple part of this costume. For Benezia's debut, I actually painted my body blue and wound up leaving hand prints all over the hotel and staining the corset and turtleneck. I have since acquired a bodysuit which makes my life that much easier. I have to say that I'm proudest of the hat. It's a do-rag over an embroidery hoop, and the front piece is two pieces of fabric reinforced with interfacing and hanger wire.
