Here are the photos I took at Big Wow Comicfest 2013, held at San Jose Convention Center on the weekend of May 18-19. It was a nearly last-minute decision on my part to go since I was expecting to have to work that weekend but turned out not to be the case, and I only went on Saturday. For me, it was a dry run for the following weekend's FanimeCon, especially given the changes to the venue for this year.

Kirin - shirogami520 Lighting Assisstant - SailorBee The first part of the shoot went off like usually: I had no idea which poses to do and she didn\'t either. And we laughed....well giggled anyways. ^^; Later on, however, my allergies started to really kick in. Thankfully, SailorBee was with us during the shoot as lighting assistant/pose idea woman. I gave her my camera will I took a fast-acting medication. Turns out, she's not bad at shooting. Trying to convince her to pick up her camera and shoot more. ^^;

Last-minute openning for me to go to this mini-convention. That beings said, this is probably one of the better (if not the best) student-run conventions. Only real complaint is the weather, but that's to be expected from the fact that it is located in Davis. I wasn't expecting much, but I managed to hang out with LimitlessEdge and Save Colbat cosplay. Definitely different for me. ^^;

Kushina Uzumaki - SailorBee Minato Namikaze - Gin-San Silver Soul Lots of derping during the shoot, which is great. Outside of conventions, derping is good since there wasn't a lot of pressure to go BANG BANG BANG, POSE POSE POSE. I don't get to do these kinds of shoots nearly enough where we can take our time, relax, derp, and get a lot of good shots.
