Construction Details:

This is a pretty obscure anime from the people who created Azumanga Daioh and is a parody of the Magical Girl genre. Pretty hilarious, only 4 episodes long, and I think you can pick up the Complete edition of the DVD for about $20-$25.

Personal Thoughts:

A lot of this costume was easy, while the rest of it was hard. The horns were difficult to construct at first--I think I went through three "test" runs with little success--but I got them in the end. The biggest disater struck after we were judged at Anime Boston: my 3 inch platform shoes decided to *detatch* themselves from the main shoe. ;_; I had to remake them for Anime Central, but I'm much more pleased with them now. I may make the weapon in the future, but I'm not sure.
