Construction Details:

The dress was patterned by tracing a cheap Mandarin style dress from Amazon. I omitted the sleeves and collar, and changed the front so it didn't split. After a few mock ups I got the length and fit to a point I was happy with.

nThe cape was made using Simplicity 5794 as a base (which was all ready cut from being used for my Sasuke cosplay). I greatly shortened the pattern, and used one of the collar pieces my friend Azayaka had patterned for my Sasuke cape, in order to make the mandarin collar.

nEverything is fully lined. I used iron on vinyl to create the gold pieces.

Styling Notes

Pinned two matching buns to the wig. I would like to dye the wig a bit more magenta.
