Construction Details:

I essentially just made the top/apron thing? It wasn't that difficult but now that I wore it, I wish I constructed it a bit different. I decided to make the whole thing as one piece, including the straps and sleeves, but I think that was a mistake now.

nThe apron is a rectangular piece that was made more trapezoid like to take into account for my hips. I added frills to the bottom of the apron for my personal preference because I thought it looked odd with nothing on the bottom. I ruffled strips of fabric for that and for the top as well. I decided to hide the gathers for the top ruffles with ribbon. I added two buttons on the top for the details and chose buttons that didn't look so flat.

nStraps were then measured and made into bias tape, which was then attached to the body of the apron. The only problem with this is that they don't stay in place and slip all the time. I then patterned out the sleeves through trial and errors as I wanted it to be shaped correctly and have it closed by the ribbons attached to it. It was then sewed onto the straps.

nThe apron is closed by a zipper and a hook and eye. I then made the belt, which is velcroed closed with a removable bow.

nThe skirt and the boots were bought.

Personal Thoughts:

I had wanted to use the Asuna wig I got for her default SAO outfit but along the way, I decided not to make that outfit anymore, which resulted in no use for the actual wig. I decided to do her housewife outfit as I had all the fabric on hand from scraps and it was essentially a $0 cosplay (minus the boots and skirt I bought along the way but I can use that for anything really lol).

Styling Notes

I fixed the braid and trimmed the bangs and the side bangs.
