Construction Details:

Top is just a costume parry shell bra that I cut down and painted and decorated. I then attached it to spandex. The tail is also in spandex with organza for the fin. I want to redo the tail fin though, because it is too flimsy in water, and though I wanted it to be see through to look cooler, it matches the water too much and ends up being invisible XD

Personal Thoughts:

I've been meaning to tackle Ariel's mermaid outfit since 2011, but now that I finally did, I see I still have a bit more learning and refining to do!
