Construction Details:

The top was a happy accident and everything else was a piece of cake. Pretty much everything is stretch sateen - the mint green was dyed by yours truly - except for the paws, which are minky. The skirt and apron are 3/4 circle skirts, and the top is patterned from a corset pattern. The bow tie and collar are separate from the rest of the top, since I couldn't get it to all attach nicely without keeping them in two pieces. Mei patterned the paws. We were really keen on getting the proportions right here, and of course, that made everything kind of hard to walk in. Hazard made our claws from aluminium foil and sculpey, and they're glued to buttons which are sewn onto the paws.

Styling Notes

Bangs needed a bit of a trim with a razor comb, then they were pinned in place with bobby pins. Twin tails are two long curly clips and they are basically perfect in every way.
