Construction Details:

This costume was made for a group of 8, so we decided to buy all matching costumes from Bodyline and make necessary alterations for fit and accuracy. This way, we all matched! We pretty much remade the skirts, garters, and accessories. The shirt needed lining and smaller alterations.

Styling Notes

Stubbed the half pony layer by layer with wig caulk, making for long wait times for the caulk to fully dry. Took wefts from the clip in ponytail and attached strands to the stub. Used remaining extra wefts to fill out sparse areas in the wig and create the hair bun. Attached the bun to the stub and wrapped the base of the bun/ponytail with loose fibers to cover the seam. Teased/cut/spiked her front bang poof and cut/styled the bangs.

I am OBSESSED with this wig! With the stubbed half-pony, the wig maintains its shape perfectly and is super super light.
