Construction Details:

Skwinky designed rough outlines for Riku, Kairi, and Roxas and I had fun interpreting it! Everything is entirely hand-patterned based on my measurements. The tunic is made of anti-pill fleece with a turtleneck and zipper. I ordered fur from my favorite source, Distinctive Fabrics, and sewed it to every hem. Hats were quickly hand-patterned and sewn together. The belt is stretch pleather. I had fun adding specifically Riku-like touches to the costume--only wearing the red banding on the left wrist, to simulate his ace bandage from his battle with Roxas (did you know that's what that was?? I always thought he was just wearing it to be cool), and I topstitched giant pockets out of fleece onto the twill pants to simulate his KH2 design. Skwinky sewed 'claws' out of fleece onto our gloves so we would all match. The buttons, which are in the shape of the Dream Eater symbol from KH3D, are sealed craft foam.

KINGDOM HEARTS IS LIGHT (i grew up with this franchise, since age 12, I almost cried when the day came to finally cosplay it)
