Construction Details:: I'm not invested in this series at all, but I ended up making this myself because I hated the plaids on all the Taobao costumes... Got a red and cream plaid and dyed it with pink and orange for the skirt and bow. Shirt is some kind of lightweight suiting and collar is... I think rodeo? Some bottomweight. And I had to remake it because I didn't account for the fact that the top being open in front would change the angle of the neckline... ugh.

My favorite part is the bracelet -- got the scrunchie and silver bead bracelet from Etsy, then made the tiny pink knot bow and tied it around the bracelet. So it did not take much effort, but the tiny bow is just so cute...

Styling Notes: Two Rose wigs plus a curly clip... I basically cut the second wig into a bunch of wefts to sew in to make it thicker, and then used the bunched up scalp of it for the ponytail. Ponytail clip is underneath that to give it a little more support and more volume. It is SO HEAVY...
