I originally hated this dress but I have come to love it.

I custom patterned the dress. This was my first time rouging a skirt and I think I did okay. My favorite part of the costume is the hat. I built it using matteboard and then covered it in felt. I then made a satin cover and hand sewed it in place, covering the edge with a black braid. The flowers are each hand sewn to a piece of felt within the brim of the hat so they are able to move and be adjusted
